Assistant: Linda Velia
Jeffrey Wishko has extensive experience in resolving civil disputes concerning business transactions, commercial claims, employment relations and real estate issues (including environmental contamination). His practice has ranged from representing individuals and small businesses in local and state court employment disputes to representing major oil companies in commercial litigation before the United States Supreme Court.
In all of these matters, Mr. Wishko strives to achieve a prompt, effective and economically efficient resolution to a dispute utilizing all available means of dispute resolution, including negotiation and mediation. Mr. Wishko's experience and training as a litigator, mediator, and arbitrator have enabled him to obtain favorable settlements for his clients in the vast majority of his cases. In the rare instance when settlement isn't achievable, Jeff has achieved close to 100% success in litigated trials, arbitrations and administrative hearings, as well as in appeals of the decision in those proceedings.
Mr. Wishko has also practiced Bankruptcy Law for almost 30 years, representing both creditors and debtors. This aspect of Jeff's practice has allowed him to understand and address the impact of a bankruptcy filing on a pending or concluded civil dispute.
